About the private yoga classes.
The yoga classes with Alexandra are mainly inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli (Awakening the Spine), as well as her training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and the Satyananda yoga system. She frames these classes in a way that promotes a union between body and mind, using basic and accessible techniques that are appropriate for everyone. Her goal is to inspire and invite her students to develop an intuitive approach to their practice, the ability to focus their attention, and most importantly to expand their awareness.
About the teacher.
Alexandra Sotiropoulou has been practicing yoga since 1996 and has been teaching since 2003. Her yoga training includes three important and well-established yoga systems with a long tradition, Satyananda yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and yoga inspired by Vanda Scaravelli. She is certified by YOGA ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL (Master level training - 500 hours).
